New York Rangers defeat Calgary Flames, 2-1, on Garden of Dreams Awareness Night
Last night the New York Rangers defeated the Calgary Flames, 2-1, at Madison Square Garden. The game marked the annual Rangers Garden of Dreams Night to raise awareness of the Foundation’s cause. Rangers backup goalie Martin Biron, who has transcended his title recently with two starts in a row and a relief appearance in the game before that, was spectacular in net, stopping 31 of 32 shots. Brian Boyle scored his 9th goal of the season and Dan Girardi was the difference-maker with the game winning goal and an assist on Boyle’s. The Rangers now head down to Florida for Thanksgiving to kick off a 3-game road trip. Photos by Avi Gerver, ©Madison Square Garden, L.P.
