On Sunday afternoon, the New York Rangers lost a close one to second-place-in-the-conference Tampa Bay Lightning, 2-1, at Madison Square Garden. The Rangers who are currently in 7th place, have an opportunity to further distance themselves from the 9th place Buffalo Sabres when they face them tonight at the Garden.
