New York Rangers Youth Hockey Clinic with Derek Stepan
The New York Rangers held a youth hockey clinic with second-year player Derek Stepan at their training facility up in Westchester on Wednesday evening. Stepan made headlines last season when he became only the 4th player in NHL history to score a hat trick (3 goals) in his first game. He finished the year with an impressive 45 points (21 goals, 24 assists) and has played an important role in the early success of this season’s team. At the age of 21 (he was born in the 90’s!), he’s proven that you don’t have to be a veteran to have an impact in the NHL, an inspiration for the kids at the clinic. Don’t worry, no kids were harmed in the making of this photo!
